Small Quilt Talk

Looking for quilting inspiration on a small scale? We're a group of quilt lovers and makers of small quilts ( less than 30" x 30" ). If you're a fan of author and quilt designer Kathleen Tracy and your passion is making small quilts from some of her designs, then this group is for you. The focus will be on sharing your love of doll quilts or small quilts. You can find patterns for some of Kathy's small quilts on her website Country Lane Quilts
You can also visit her Etsy shop for patterns -

Kathy is the author of American Doll Quilts, Prairie Children and Their Quilts, Remembering Adelia, The Civil War Sewing Circle, Small & Scrappy, A Prairie Journey and her newest book  Schoolgirl Sampler.  Join the fun and meet new friends, share your love of small quilts by showing photos of some of your projects. Projects by any and all designers of small quilts are welcome but please, no promoting or spamming through links. Quilters of all levels are welcome - Show us your quilts!

We are working on monthly challenges this year using patterns from Kathy's Civil War Sewing Circle book. Every other month I will assign a quilt from the book for you to work on. See Files for the list of challenges. We also plan fun events throughout the year including a small quilt swap each spring, fabric and block swaps and a Secret Santa Swap around the holidays.

Please - we ask that you do not use this group to advertise your own products or agenda or serve your own or another quilter's commercial purposes. This means no links to other commercial quilting sites unless approval is granted.
